Simon House provides emergency shelter for homeless adult women who are pregnant or have children. The shelter is located at 208 West Campbell Street in Frankfort, Kentucky. Families come to the shelter primarily from Franklin and surrounding counties in Central Kentucky. The primary focus for families entering the shelter is to assist them to become permanently housed. Case managers provide supportive
services to help families find stable community housing and overcome any barriers that may hinder their movement to secure community housing. A brief stay in emergency shelter enables mothers in crisis to obtain stability and move forward to achieve the best plan for themselves and their children.

They may request food, clothing, diapers and other baby needs, cleaning supplies, personal care products, and some household items. This support often helps them manage periods of economic challenges and preclude homelessness. Community services are provided at 101 Saint Clair Street, Frankfort, Kentucky.
